AN EVOCATIVE MEMORY LANE WELCOMES YOU TO THE EXHIBITION 1932–1942 MURANO GLASS AND THE VENICE BIENNALE
The exhibition 1932–1942 Murano Glass and the Venice Biennale, curated by Marino Barovier, opens with a walk down a Memory Lane, featuring period photographs of the historic Murano glass displays presented at the Biennale between 1932 and 1942. This evocative introduction sets the tone for a journey into the elegance and innovation of a golden era in glassmaking. At the end of Memory Lane, a striking image of the Padiglione Venezia - the architectural masterpiece by renowned Venetian architect Brenno Del Giudice - serves as a fitting backdrop, celebrating the pavilion's historical role supported by the Biennale and the Istituto Veneto per il Lavoro. The exhibition is open every day from 10am to 7pm, closed on Wednesday. Free entrance.
