Ultimo edizione design souvenir sculpture by Ettore Sottsass

ultima edizione was a company based in massa, near carrara, italy, whre the world famous marble caves are located.

in the late 80 they use to work with ettore sottsass producing marble furnitures and models for houses and buildings, that could be eventually realized for real.

in that period, a group of designer, under the supervision of the master sottsass himself, decided to carry out and editon of models of ancient historical buildings, mad in marble past. the whole collection was called "souvenir".

now the edition is over, out of production since at least 25 years

this model is the pisa tower, that was biuild in the city of pisa, italy, in 1173

the model height is 21 cm.

it's perfectly preserved, with the original metal signed label and catalogue included.
