Painter and graphic artist.Student of the Hamburg School of Applied Arts with Friedrich Adler and Arthur Illies.1926-29 student of the Munich Academy with Hermann Groeber and Ludwig Herterich.From 1929 to 1939 successful operator of his own painting school on Neuer Wall in Hamburg.Regular participation in the annual exhibitions in the House of German Art in Munich.Representative of an Impressionism expanded by expressive influences - Outstanding achievements also succeed as an animal painter.
