DON’T MISS THE NEXT EXHIBITION 1948-1958 MURANO GLASS AND THE VENICE BIENNALE

The upcoming exhibition at LE STANZE DEL VETRO will take you to the heart of the revival of Murano glass at the Venice Biennale, from 1948 to 1958. In 1948, with the reopening of the Biennale after the wartime pause, the Venice Pavilion also came back to life, hosting an exhibition dedicated to the ‘decorative art products [...] of the artisans of the Venezie’.
On display are historic furnaces such as those of Paolo Venini and Ercole Barovier, Seguso Vetri d’Arte, AVEM, and Aureliano Toso, alongside newer enterprises like Gino Cenedese & C. with Alfredo Barbini. Save the dates: we look forward to welcoming you from 19 April to 22 November 2026.
